I think one of the toughest things is the secret - to tell, or not to tell? Epilepsy scares people.

We are all always at the mercy of our body chemistry, but it is so powerfully expressed and exposed by seizures. Absolutely compelling description, dr c.

It is so sad. I feel for them having to go through that. One guy I had, had wandered into our building, and he just laid right down in the lobby. He knew he was going to have one apparently. I felt so bad when he came to, and so many people had gathered. I kept him on his side, but the poor thing was a deaf mute. He couldn't understand what I was saying to him. I could only comfort with touch, and what he could read on my face. I only know a few words in sign language. I'm going to try to take a few courses on it.
